I hope you all read my last post. This one is simply a continuation of it. Here are a few more trends that would be hot this season.

Polka Dots with Prints:
This one is my favorite! I just love the idea of matching polka dots with prints and would be definitely going for it! How is the middle one with red polkas and golden skirt?? I have no words for it...

Wardrobe must haves for Spring 2014 (Part 1)

Hi there!
How did your weekend go? Went somewhere? Every week I decide I am gonna do this and that.. but end up doing nothing..I think that's how I like my weekends...!! :D
This is the post that  I was so eagerly waiting to do. It was mainly because I am tired of my wardrobe as well as the collections different brands have in store now. It is the old winter designs everywhere on sale that make me sick. So I have decided not to shop unless the sale is down!! I am going to show you all what I think one should be buying to make their wardrobe spring ready... :)

Something floral:
Floral prints are incorporated by all the designers in their collection this season. I think it is in the spirit of welcoming spring!  I feel that it goes with all kinds of personalities. Whether you want to show yourself as an elegant and delicate lady or as a strong independent women, go for florals!!  Also it goes for all occasions from a casual day to a day in the office or even for a special event.

Minty ode to my college: OOTD

Hello there!
I am writing after such a looooooong time! I was very busy with winding up things from my college. And then my entire family was together so had no time to visit my blog... :/ But would try and be regular now although I know this entire month would be busy again for me. And why is that?? Because I am visiting Abu Dhabi at the end of this month!! I am super excited!! Yayie... :D  I hope everything goes smoothly and I get the visa... Do comment if you know where to visit and what  to buy in Abu Dhabi. It would be really very helpful. :)
So today's OOTD is my final OOTD from my college. I did it on my last day. I know it is not that great because I had packed and sent off all my accessories and had to make do with the very little I had. Also the weather was so hot and humid that my hair looked horrible. :( But nonetheless I love it as it was my last one from my college. The first picture has the main building of my college and I was so paranoid posing as there were so many people there!
This spring mint color is really popular So I also thought to go for it. I bought this polka dot mint top from a street market in Mussoorie (Uttarakhand). I just love it and paired it with my black jeans and peep toes. I use mint shade for my nails too. <3
Here I am wearing:
Mint top: Street Find
Black Jeans: Only
Peep toed Ballet Flats: Chief 19 store (Sector 17, Chandigarh)
Watch: Calvin Klein
Earrings: Bought from Germany (Don't remember the store name)

See through and Sheer clothes

Spring Fashion-Part II

Hi everyone!
I am back with the second part of the Spring fashion 2013 series. In my previous post I was talking about the stripe hype for this spring(If you missed it then you can read it here.). Today I would show you another trend which I personally am crazy about.
This is the trend of  see through clothes or what we call the sheer clothes. They were in vogue this fall and still manage to hold their position for the coming spring. They are incorporated by many designers in their Spring 2013 collection. Some of the notable ones being Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana. Let's have a look at some of the designs showcased by them.

I would start with the most bold designs. I chose the Valentino dress for inspiration as the floral print seems to welcome the spring. We can take a cue from this dress to wear sheer floral printed tops. They would look very classy and chic. The next is the Calvin Klein dress. Their entire spring collection is very elegant because of the use of sheer clothing and nude shades. I love this dress and am waiting to sport it on some celeb soon. This dress gives the freedom of wearing a tube dress without looking vulgar. The last one is from Marc Jacobs. I would love to buy a beige colored sheer top and match it with a tank top inside.

This Spring Get Striped!!

Spring Fashion-Part I

Hello Girls!!
Wondering what would be the trends this spring? If yes then continue reading this post and the other sequels where I would bring to you what would be hot this spring!! I saw the spring collections of various designers and found trends which almost all of them have incorporated in their collection. I would discuss each trend in a new post and hence the “Part I”. :)

This post is all about stripes! The designers have gone crazy after stripes this spring. Yes ladies, be prepared to see your favorite celebs in all kinds of wacky stripes in the coming days. The ramp saw all kinds of stripes, from quirky overalls and skin hugging bodysuits to simple wearable tops and dresses. So my first tip for this spring is do own some striped clothes!

Vertically Striped: The quirkiest ones were the striped overalls and body suits. Both Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors had them as a part of their collection. The Michael Kors pieces gave a more formal look. Go for the vertical stripes to walk tall!
